Slack Odoo Connector

• Copy Client ID and Client Secret keys from https://api.slack.com/apps/ and paste it in the Client id and Client secret fields respectively.

SLACK’S REDIRECT URL

• Enter your domain name in the Redirect URLs field and add /slack_token at the end.
• Click on save URLs.

Set User Token Scope

• Go to Basic Information -> Add features and functionality -> Permission -> Scopes-> User Token Scopes
• Click on Add an OAuth Scope button and give scope permissions visible in above image
• Reinstall you app to your workspace

SLACK’S EVENT REDIRECT URL VERIFICATION

• Enter your domain name and add /event/ at the end

SLACK’S EVENT SUBSCRIPTION

• Click on Add Workspace Event button and subscribe to events visible in above image.
• Click on Save Changes

IMPORT SLACK USER AND SLACK CHANNELS

• Click on Import Users.
• Go to Settings -> Users and Companies -> Users
• You can now view the Slack Users synced to Odoo.

ODOO DISCUSS VIEW AFTER SYNCING ALL SLACK CREDIENTIALS

• Click on Import Channels button. The channels wil be created instantly.
• Go to Discuss to view the Slack Channel synced to Odoo.
• Due to Slack API limitations, we can only request 50 messages per minute. It may take a while to synchronize all the Slack messages.
