Zoho Updates and Feature Edition 2021 – What’s New?

New Features

Below are some latest features of Zoho CRM released in January and February 2021;

UI Improvements:

Improvements in the user interface allow you to expand or collapse the smart filter in both list views and Kanban. Text can be wrapped within the text fields. Moreover, the “create and import record” buttons are now in a drop-down style button.

Online Meetings:

A new feature allows you to create online meetings without any hassle. Businesses can conduct online meetings to ensure a streamlined remote working environment. By using audio or video conferencing as well as features for screen sharing, support issues can be resolved easily.

Records Sharing:

Command Center:

Updates in the command center are also made in which system-defined journeys can be employed when the user signs up or upgrade to the edition that supports Command Center.

Wizard Layout:

Wizard layout is updated in which now the created records can be updated using the Wizard Layout.

Controlled Access:

Modifications can be restricted in Zoho CRM by locking the custom views. This new feature will control any uncertain modifications and users with whom the custom view is shared now cannot make any further changes by locking it. The view and edit permissions can be managed by admins and users.

Records as ‘Public’:

Records can be shared as public in which all the users in an organization would be able to see them. Moreover, when a record is shared with someone privately, the field notification will be sent to that user.

Records Classification:

Based on the integration, records can be classified in the campaigns module. A new field named “Integration Type” is introduced when integrated with Zoho Survey, Zoho Webinar, Zoho Campaigns, or Zoho Backstage. The read-only fields can be used to filter out the records and to be used in the workflows, blueprint, and rules, etc.

Web Tabs:

In recent updates, now you can share the web tabs with the users of the portal. Specific permissions can be assigned to the users to view or edit within the CRM.

Signals:

Notifications in any third-party application can be received within the CRM. Using an API or a function, signals can be raised that can be viewed in the custom-designed widget within Zoho CRM.

Zia Vision:

The pictures and objects in the CRM can be identified and classified using Zia.it can be trained to identify the objects using the pre-trained object innovative object classifier.

A new feature that is A/B testing is introduced in Zoho CRM. The webforms can be tweaked as required to ensure quality leads. A/B testing helps you measure leads performance by trying various versions of the same webform.

Quadrant Analysis:

Using sales data, businesses can organize the data and make effective decisions that contribute to the performance of the system.

Cohort Analysis:

Sales processes and their trends can be analyzed by determining the patterns in sales data and identifying the sales cycle. Cohort analysis can be used to visualize the behavior of customers. The rate of lead conversion can be identified and deals can be closed at a higher rate. Multiple attributes are defined against which the cohort analysis can be performed.

Webform Analytics:

Webform analysis is added in the year 2020 as a feature in Zoho CRM. It helps identify that how many leads a particular webform has generated. The origin is identified that helps businesses analyze the performance using webforms.
